Terms & Conditions
LensPilot is operated by PRANAY ARVIND MATE (sole proprietor, trading as DoorPilot), Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra 421004, India · matepranay11@gmail.com · +91 72764 35142.
These terms apply when you use LensPilot (“we”, “us”) as a photographer or studio. By creating an account or paying for a plan you agree to them. Your clients and event guests do not need an account; how we handle their details is on our Privacy page.
1. The service
LensPilot is online software for photographers: studio tools (shoots, calendar, team, agreements and payment plans) and private client galleries with proofing, downloads and guest photo delivery. It is a digital service, used in a web browser. Nothing is shipped.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract under Indian law. If you use LensPilot for a business, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.
- You sign in with your phone number (a one-time code on WhatsApp) or with Google. Keep access to them secure; you are responsible for what happens in your account, including what team members you add do in it.
- New accounts start on the Free plan for 1 month. One free month per phone number. Deleting and re-creating an account does not give another one.
3. Plans and billing
- Paid plans are prepaid for one month, 6 months or a year. Prices are shown on the Pricing page and at checkout, in Indian rupees, before you pay.
- There is no automatic renewal. Nothing is saved to charge you again. When a period ends, you buy the next one yourself.
- Renewing the same plan before your period ends adds the new period after the current one, so you lose no days.
- An upgrade starts straight away. The checkout shows the exact amount, including any credit for the unused part of your current period, before you pay.
- A downgrade is scheduled for the end of your current period and costs nothing on the day. A move to a plan whose storage or team seats are smaller than what you are already using is refused, with the reason shown, until it fits.
- Team seats beyond those included in your plan are paid for before the person can sign in, for the rest of the current period, and then renew with your plan.
- You can cancel from Settings at any time. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then moves to the Free plan. No further charges are made.
- Payments are processed by our payment gateways (Cashfree or Razorpay). Your card, UPI or bank details go to them, not to us. Each payment gets a receipt in Settings.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation policy.
- Payments your own clients make to you (payment plans, instalments) are between you and your client. LensPilot does not collect them.
What you pay for, and complimentary features
Your plan’s price pays for storage and client galleries as listed on the Pricing page. Everything else in LensPilot is complimentary (for example shoots, calendar, team, payments, agreements, invitations, guest photo delivery, camera upload, AI and other tools). Complimentary features may be changed, limited, moved to a paid plan or add-on, or switched off at any time. If a change removes something you are using on a paid plan, we will tell you at least 30 days before, and it will not reduce what you already paid for in your current period.
4. Your content
- You own your photographs, videos and other content. We host them for you. You allow us to store, copy and process them (making previews, watermarks and, where you switch on guest delivery, face matching) only to provide LensPilot to you and the people you share them with.
- You confirm you have the rights to what you upload and the consent of the people in it where the law requires it.
- Your clients’ and guests’ personal details are handled as our Privacy page describes. Your photographs never appear in our own marketing.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload anything illegal, or anything you have no right to share;
- upload sexual content involving minors, or intimate images of anyone without their consent;
- use LensPilot to harass, defraud or spam anyone;
- try to reach other accounts’ data, break or overload the service, or get around plan limits or the one-free-month rule;
- resell LensPilot itself without our written agreement.
6. Storage, locks and deletion
- Each plan has a storage allowance. When it is full, new uploads stop until you free space or move to a bigger plan.
- When your plan’s period ends without a renewal, your galleries lock. Your clients’ links keep working for a further 7 days, and then close until you renew. The studio warns you before your plan ends.
- After 30 days unpaid, your galleries are locked: previews stay, full-size downloads pause, and renewing unlocks them automatically within 48 hours. After about 6 more months unpaid, the galleries are permanently deleted and non-recoverable. We send WhatsApp warnings 30 and 7 days before. Renewing stops it at any point before that.
- What happens to photographs you delete yourself (Recently deleted, the archive, and when they are permanently deleted and non-recoverable) is set out on Your photographs.
7. Availability
We work to keep LensPilot running and your work safe, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we publish no uptime figure or service-level agreement. We may change or improve features over time. Keep your own copies of your photographs: LensPilot is a delivery and proofing tool, not your archive.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or lost bookings. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any liability the law does not allow to be limited.
9. Ending your use
- You can stop using LensPilot at any time. To close your account and delete its data, write to us; the account and its data are then permanently deleted and non-recoverable.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts other people or the service at risk, telling you why where we can.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts at Thane, Maharashtra.
11. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. For a change that materially affects paying studios we will tell you before it takes effect. Using LensPilot after that means you accept the new terms.
